Yes! Over the past few years, Travel Agents have rebranded as Travel Advisors to reflect the level of personalization and care we put into each trip. Like financial advisors, we’re real experts. We love all things travel and taking the stress out of planning trips. We can create your trip from scratch or help book what you’ve already decided on, and everything in between. Plus, we can unlock perks and VIP amenities at hotels, resorts, and cruises around the world.

What is the benefit of booking with a travel advisor instead of booking online?

Booking with a travel advisor offers several benefits over booking online, including access to insider knowledge and personalized recommendations, assistance with unexpected issues like flight cancellations or hotel overbooking, and peace of mind knowing that a professional is handling your travel arrangements. As a travel advisor, I can help you plan your trip by providing personalized recommendations and expert advice based on your travel preferences and budget. I can help you find the best value on flights and accommodations, suggest activities and tours that align with your interests, and provide tips on local customs and cultures.

I offer hotel and cruise bookings, reservations, and excursions — as well as customized itinerary and travel planning. I am also able to book theme park resorts and tickets for Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Universal Studios. I book travel for any traveler. From mid-range to boutique, to luxury, I’ve got you covered.

How does your process work?

At Petite+Spice, we are dedicated to creating the perfect travel experience for our clients. In order to ensure that we can provide the highest level of personalized service, we charge a one-time planning fee per trip. This fee covers the time and effort we put into researching destinations, creating customized itineraries, booking accommodations and transportation, and any extras.

We know that planning a trip can be overwhelming, which is why we are here to guide you through the entire process. After you submit your trip information, we will schedule a 30-minute call or communicate electronically to discuss your preferences and travel style. Once we have a clear understanding of your needs, we will start the planning process.

With our extensive knowledge of the travel industry, we are able to secure the best value and perks for our clients. Our hotel bookings are complimentary, and we receive a small commission from hotels and cruise lines for our services – just like the big travel booking sites.

Rest assured that your personal and financial information is kept secure at all times. We will only ask for your credit card information once all travel arrangements have been finalized and you have approved all costs.

What should I expect the process to look like?

  1. Inquiry: Start by filling out the travel inquiry form to provide me with your travel needs and preferences. This is your chance to share your dream trip with me and let me craft a custom itinerary just for you. Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll schedule a 30-minute call or communicate electronically to learn more about your travel plans and discuss any questions or concerns you may have. Then, I’ll begin researching and planning every detail of your trip, so you can sit back and relax while I take care of everything else.

  2. Quote: I’ll carefully collect your preferences, travel dates, and budget to create a personalized plan that suits your unique needs. After doing thorough research, I’ll send you an initial quote. Please let me know if there are any adjustments or alterations you would like to make to ensure the plan fits your requirements perfectly. After you have approved the itinerary and quote, I will require your credit card information to make reservations. I will provide you with a credit card authorization form to sign, which will grant me permission to book your trip on your behalf.

  3. Get Your Trip Booked: After your reservations are confirmed, I will provide you with a detailed itinerary that includes confirmation numbers, important information, and helpful travel tips. You can count on me to keep track of all the details, so you can relax and enjoy your trip. Two weeks before your departure date, I will double-check with all vendors to ensure that everything is in order for your dream trip. I will then confirm with you that everything is good to go and answer any last-minute questions you may have.

  4. Pack Your Bags: Sit back and relax as I take care of everything, while you prepare for your trip! I will provide you with a detailed itinerary, including all trip details and any necessary information. Throughout your journey, I am always available to help you with anything that comes up. I am always eager to hear about my client’s experiences and ensure that their travels are nothing short of extraordinary!

How much do you charge?

I currently do not charge a planning fee.

Can you help with travel insurance?

Yes, I can help you purchase travel insurance policies that provide coverage for unexpected events like trip cancellations, delays, and medical emergencies. I recommend Faye Travel Insurance.

How do you stay up to date on travel restrictions and regulations?

As a travel advisor, I stay up to date on travel restrictions and regulations by regularly monitoring news and travel advisories, as well as by attending industry conferences and continuing education courses.

Can you help with last-minute travel plans?

Yes, I can help with last-minute travel plans and can often secure better deals on accommodations due to my industry connections and expertise. Please fill out my inquiry form and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Do you offer discounts or travel deals?

I don’t focus on finding you the cheapest travel deals or flights but I do recommend using Skyscanner to look for cheaper flights and booking discounted attraction and tour tickets from Klook, especially if you’ll be in Japan.
