The air is crisp, the leaves are ablaze with vibrant hues of oranges and reds, and the enchanting aroma of pumpkin spice and apple cider fills the air—it can only mean one thing: fall has officially arrived!
…And with the arrival of this magical season, I’m packing my bags for an exciting weekend getaway to New England (Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont) to immerse myself in the art of fall foliage — known as leaf peeping!
The plan is to fly into Boston, stay the night in Portland, Maine, and then journey across New Hampshire, and stay in Vermont for 2 nights! I’m writing this as I’m about to leave for work, and my bags are freshly packed! Stay tuned for more content to come from this destination. Lobster Rolls in Maine, Kangamagus Highway in New Hampshire, and Cider Mills in Vermont are just a few things on the agenda. I planned everything from the rental car, hotels, and things to do and eat.
I’m excited to finally pay a visit to the North East and experience true autumn. Here in Texas, it’s more like hot weather and dry grass to cool weather and dead trees without the good in-between transition to winter,
I’ll link what I wore or took with me in case there’s something you like or you’d like to know where I bought something!
